The BSRIA publications panel is a group of representatives of BSRIA member companies who advise BSRIA on publications priorities. The panel meets quarterly online and are often asked to review drafts of publications.
Digital delivery expert
BSRIA is looking for a new panel member to advise on digital delivery of technical information, and thereby assist with BSRIA’s move away from traditional methods of delivery. Candidates should be familiar with the software used for developing, storing and accessing content, and should have knowledge around areas such as protection of intellectual property and digital rights management.
Construction process expert
BSRIA is looking for a new panel member to advise on processes related to construction of buildings and building services. Candidates should have knowledge of standards, regulations and guidance, and awareness of current issues such as fire safety, modern methods of construction, smart buildings and the drive towards net zero. Ideally, candidates would have extensive project experience and contacts within the industry.
The application process
Applications should be sent to Publications.Panel@bsria.co.uk by 16th September 2024 and should include a brief statement of your experience, areas of expertise, and how you can contribute to the development and sharing of knowledge in building services and the wider construction industry. BSRIA will review all applications received but cannot guarantee that any specific applicant will be given a seat on the panel. By submitting an application, you are consenting to BSRIA holding and processing your information for the purpose of this exercise. Applications will only be kept for 6 months unless they are successful.
