The University or Warwick seeks to appoint an enthusiastic passionate team member to support the implementation of its ambitious Environmental Sustainability Strategy and Carbon Management Plan.
The University of Warwick campus operates 24/7/365 supporting in excess of 25,000 persons with a complex range of activities including; intensive research, teaching, commercial and residential.
You will assist the Energy & Sustainability team engaging with all University departments and stakeholders to successfully identify, promote and implement environmental sustainability initiatives across the University; delivering projects and behaviour change to meet the University’s sustainability targets on carbon emissions, waste and recycling, biodiversity & ecology and utilities consumption.
To be successful in this role, you will have a keen and demonstrable interest in holistic sustainability and be self-motivated to actively communicate, engage and collaborate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
You will have excellent interpersonal communication, reporting and organisational skills and the ability to drive concurrent behaviour change projects and communication activities with a range of departments and students at all times. Experience of biodiversity & ecology program or capital construction projects would be beneficial.
